Ask the Assemblyman: Tom Abinanti to Take Your Questions on PCTV

What would you like to ask your state assemblyman?

New York State 92nd District Assemblyman Tom Abinanti will be fielding questions from former Westchester County Legislator and Pleasantville resident John Nonna during a taped Pleasantville Community Television (PCTV) interview next week.

The two will discuss the proposed state redistricting changes, which would move Mount Pleasant into Senate District 40, shifting the town—including Pleasantville and part of Briarcliff Manor—into Senator Greg Ball's district.

If the proposed new districts become official, Mount Pleasant will become part of Senate District 40, which includes North Castle, Mount Kisco, Cortlandt, Peekskill, Somers, North Salem, Lewisboro and Pound Ridge in Westchester; as well as Carmel, Southeast, Patterson, Pawling and Beekman in Putnam County.

Another regional proposed change would place Ossining into Sen. David Carlucci's district, who otherwise represents Rockland County municipalities.

Nonna will also speak with the Assemblyman about Governor Andrew Cuomo's proposed state budget.

What would you like Nonna to ask Abinanti about the proposal? Do you have other topics you think they should discuss? Let us know in the comments below or email pleasantville@patch.com by Sunday.

All questions will be shared with PCTV prior to the taping.
