James Kovacs of Briarcliff Manor To Lead Sleepy Hollow St. Patrick's Day Parade

Parade set for Sunday, March 11.

 

James Kovacs of Briarcliff Manor will be the Grand Marshal of the 16th annual St. Patrick’s Parade, according to Sleepy Hollow parade committee chairman Thomas P. Kennedy.

The parade is set for Sunday, March 11.

Leading the parade with Kovacs will be aides Christine Campbell of Tarrytown, Annie Kiernan of Sleepy Hollow, Fina Randazzo, Tarrytown, Maureen Vanginderen, Tarrytown, Francis G. Farrington, Dobbs Ferry, Patrick Grimes, Sleepy Hollow, Donald P. Marra, Dobbs Ferry, Fr. Timothy Scannell, Dobbs Ferry.

This year the parade is dedicated to those who served and to those we lost because of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The installation of the Grand Marshal and Aides is set for Friday, Feb. 24 at the Westchester Manor, Hastings-on-Hudson. Parade Day, March 11, is set to begin with the 10 A.M. Mass at The Church of the Transfiguration, 268 S. Broadway, Tarrytown. The parade will begin promptly at 1:30 P.M. at Main Street in Tarrytown, proceed north on Route 9 to Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow and down to Kendall Avenue.
