Briarcliff Scouts Earn Silver Awards; Garden Club's 'Fall Fundraiser'

1) Briarcliff Girl Scout Senior Troop 2058, composed of 9th graders who have been active girl scouts since kindergarten, has a lot to be thankful for this season. ive of the nine troop members earned their Silver Awards which is the second highest award in scouting. 2) Briarcliff Manor Garden Club will be holding its annual "Fall Fundraiser" on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 (10am-3pm) at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. Tickets are still available. More details here.

3) We'll have cold weather for the first time this fall: highs around 50 and lows in the 30s.

4) Chappaqua resident Bill Clinton's visit to Nyack for a fundraiser has picked up interesting comments about local politics.
