Coffee, School Board Meetings in Pleasantville, Briarcliff

1. Coffee Education: The Pleasantville High School will host a parent coffee session for information regarding college testing information Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 8 a.m. in the library media center. Meanwhile, Briarcliff Middle School principal Susan Howard invites parents to come grab a cup of joe from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

2. School Board Meetings: The Briarcliff and Plesantville school districts will both hold regularly scheduled public meetings Tuesday, Jan. 14. Briarcliff’s agenda for its 7 p.m. meeting include a high school substation report and a report from the energy committee. For the full agenda, click here. Pleasantville will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library media center. 

3. More like Bi-Polar Vortex: Just a week ago, the area withstood temperatures well below zero degrees. This week, it’s been well above freezing. Tuesday will be another balmy day, although more rain is in the forecast.
