Indian Point Siren Test; Restaurant Week Ahead

1. Briarcliff Manor's Board of Trustees meeting has been pushed to tomorrow, Aug. 15. The 7:30 p.m. regular meeting will be preceded by a work session, where a recreation commission nominee is among the agenda items. View the full agenda here.

2. Indian Point sirens in Westchester will undergo a test today, starting at approximately 6 p.m. The test is expected to last for four minutes.

3. Wednesday will bring a respite from dreary skies—sunny weather is expected, with highs hovering around 75. The UV index will reach "Very High," so pack sunblock if you're headed outdoors.
