1. The Pleasantville Fire Department (75 Washington Ave.) is hosting an "Emergency Summer Blood Drive" today from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. All donors will be automatically entered into a raffle to receive two 2014 Super Bowl tickets.

2. The Westchester County Historical Society will be sharing some of the county's "hidden treasures" at a special program at the Greenburgh Public Library (300 Tarrytown Rd. Elmsford) tonight at 7 p.m. Get the details here.

3. Have you been waiting for the right time to add a feline to your household? Briarcliff Manor's SPCA of Westchester is offering a "pick your adoption fee" event for kittens through the end of next month. Check out the flyer here.

4. Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with temperatures in the high 80s. And keep an eye out after dusk for the full moon.

5. Missing Chappaqua Woman Found Dead in NYC is one of the region's most read stories from Tuesday. Read it here.
