Raising Money through Laughter; Briarcliff's Annual Turkey Trot

1) The family of John Mangialardi, who was placing his Ossining Town Judge campaign signs along Route 9A when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver in September, are raising money through laughter.

An All-Star Comedy Fundraiser will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:15 p.m.) at the Anne M. Dormer Middle School on Van Cortlandt Avenue in Ossining. No reservations are necessary; $50 donation suggested with checks made payable to Arlene Mangialardi. More details here.

2) Mark your calendars. The Briarcliff Booster Club’s annual community‐wide Turkey Trot (5K run and 2 mile walk) will be held on Friday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m. at Briarcliff High School. All proceeds support Briarcliff’s athletic programs. There is a suggested donation of $20. For further information, please contact Janet Marinaccio by email: janray1@optonline.net.

3) Weather: The National Weather Service says the overnight rain mixed with snow will end, leaving the afternoon clear and cold. The high may hit 40.
