Strategic School Plan Discussion; Book Signing; More Snow

1. Pleasantville School Board Meeting: The Pleasantville Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library media center to go over the district’s current strategic plan. For the full agenda, click here. 

2. Christmas in New England: Robert Sullivan, of New Castle, will be presenting and signing his new memoir, “A Child's Christmas in New England,” at the Mount Pleasant Public Library in Pleasantville on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. Already called by Gregory Maguire (Wicked) "beautiful," and praised in People, Parade, Real Simple and Publishers Weekly, the "gorgeous" (Parade) illustrated book recounts Sullivan's upbringing in the 1950s and '60s.

3. Let is snow, let it snow, etc.: The National Weather Service forecast has up to four inches of snow coming to Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor Tuesday. Click here for the latest.
