Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, inc. (GSHH) will mark Girl Scout Week 2013 with a festive Community Partnership Luncheon designed to recognize area organizations and companies that have been consistent supporters of the Girl Scouts in recent years.
The luncheon, titled “Keeping the Promise: The Next 100 Years,” will be on Friday, March 15, at Tarrytown’s Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill. An 11:30 a.m. reception and silent auction will begin the event, followed by the luncheon and awards presentation which will conclude at 2 p.m.
Recognized at the luncheon for their ongoing partnerships with GSHH will be: Con Edison, recipient of the Leadership Award; Financial Decisions, Inc., the Humanitarian Award honoree; and El Centro Hispano, Inc., the Community Service Award recipient.
Special guest at the luncheon will be Anna Maria Chávez, CEO Girl Scouts of the USA. The event’s mistress of ceremonies will be WHUD radio personality Kacey Morabito-Grean of “Mike and Kacey in the Morning”.
Individual tickets are $150, with a discounted price for currently registered adult Girl Scouts of $125. A full table of 10 is $1,400. Sponsorship and journal ad opportunities are also available.
