Week-long series of events designed to appeal to a wide range of people in Westchester – Jewish and non-Jewish. All events are free and open to the public, and include:
Mindful Parenting Seminar: Minimizing Parental Stress, Maximizing Well Being – Talk by Dr. Mark Bertin
- Jewish Meditation, a one hour class on the history of Jewish Meditation, with Rabbi Mark Sameth.
- Who is a Jew?, a talk with author Meryl Hyman, which will address the important issues associated with this topic.
- A full Shabbat celebration, including a Tot Shabbat prelude to the regular Friday night service: Services with the PCS House Band “The Pleasmatics” and our second grade class singing along; followed by an Israeli-style Shabbat dinner
- Lisa Jane Lipkin in Concert -- Acclaimed singer/songwriter Lisa Jane Lipkin will be performing selections from her new CD Flying on Instruments (and taking requests from her earlier flights!)
