BHS Softball Striking Out Breast Cancer

The Briarcliff High School Varsity and Junior Varsity softball teams hosting two very special games vs. Ossining this past weekend at Law Memorial Park to support the fight against breast cancer. “Striking Out Breast Cancer consisted of bake sales, lanyard sales and other activities, in addition to the two games, with all proceeds donated to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Both games were held at Law Memorial Park Both teams sported pink shoes laces, wristbands, socks, and other accessories. Since 1982, the Susan G. Komen Foundation has played a critical role in major advancements in the fight against breast cancer. Fundraising efforts for the organization have contributed to early detection and more effective treatment of breast cancer, additional research, more survivors and greater hope.
