Briarcliff Rotary to Hold Art Auction

The Rotary Club of Briarcliff Manor will hold an Art Auction, including sport and music memorabilia, in the Briarcliff Manor Public Library on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 7 p.m.  Funds raised by the auction will be used for the Club's community service and international understanding projects.

The auction will be conducted by Marlin Art, nationally renowned auctioneers.  Marlin is a leader in fundraising for charitable causes with 38 years of experience in the field.  It has exclusive relationships with many prominent artists including Fazzino, Borelli, Neiman, Lui, and Holland.  In addition to these, Marlin may bring for this auction selections from its collection such as Agam, Chagall, Delacroix, Tarkay, Rockwell, Boulanger, Moses, and other well-known artists.

The event will also feature a "silent auction" where bidders would be able to enter their bids for specific items in writing.  Items for this silent auction would include classic items donated by Club members and well-wishers.

Tickets for the auction are $10 each, and are available from members of the Club.  They are also on sale at (a) the Briarcliff Manor Library, One Library Road, Briarcliff Manor; and (b) Weldon's Stationery, 1161 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor.

The Briarcliff Rotary Club is delighted to partner with Marlin in bringing this opportunity to local residents.  Art lovers and collectors would have an opportunity to own inspiring or reflective art work while simultaneously helping the Rotary Club's philanthropic work.  For further details, contact, Rotarian President Anne Cargill at annecargill@optonline.net.
