Rotary's "Preventative Health and Awareness" Series: "Pranic Healing: Helping the Body Heal Itself"

The Rotary Club of Briarcliff Manor's next presentation in the monthly series, “Preventative Health and Awareness,” will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the Briarcliff Library on “Pranic Healing: Helping the Body Heal Itself” by Mr. Elder George.

Pranic healing - from the word “Prana” or life (Sanskrit) - is based on the premise that if the body is malfunctioning, there is a lack of energy in the afflicted part and/or an energy congestion. The Pranic healer wipes away the congestion and re-energizes the afflicted part.
It was featured on network television,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahg6Ut1cyhA, and has attracted attention from physicians as a viable alternative in cases of incurable ailments.

This presentation will be by Mr. George, founder of “Men’s Action to Rebuild Society," an organization that promotes a more natural way of life for humankind.  Mr. George received his Pranic healing training from Dr. Glen Mendoza, M.D., at the Pranic Healing Institute in Lyndhurst, NJ.  He claims to have healed people with cluster headaches, torn ligaments, stress related ailments, arthritis, menstrual issues, general fatigue, sore throats, and non-clinical depression.

The program is open to the public and admission is free.  For further information, or to suggest speakers/topics for future presentations, please contact Program Coordinator Rotarian Kris Chittur of the Briarcliff Manor Rotary Club at kchittur@post.harvard.edu
