Study Skills Workshops for Teens

Does your student know the best way to study?

Could your student use solid strategies for managing his or her time more efficiently?

Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4) is running a series of evidence-based study skills workshops for middle school and high school students at the Chappaqua Learning Center, 400 King Street, Chappaqua.

The workshops begin Sunday, October 20 and run for three consecutive weeks. The high school workshop runs from noon to 2:30 and the middle school workshop runs from 3:00 to 5:30.

When students know how to study, they are better able to access their education, which in turn increases their confidence and motivation. S4 supports students by guiding them through activities designed to improve:

* Prioritization 

* Time management

* Learning retention

* Critical thinking 

* Concentration and focus

* Independent learning
