Atria Fetes Couples Young and Old

Residents celebrate 67th wedding anniversary, newlyweds.

Ken and Viola Weber have enjoyed 67 years of marital bliss and continue to enjoy each other's company while residing at Atria Briarcliff Manor.

According to Atria's Engage Life Director Ryan Linehan—who also celebrated his recent nuptials on Sunday—the Webers met during a Christmas pageant at a Bronx church and started dating in high school.

Ken Weber, a retired New York City Fire Department captain, explained their long-lasting marriage can be credited to a mutual respect the two phave for each other, while Viola said, “a mutual agreement on how they treat each other based on respect.”  Viola said, “It is the grace of God” that has kept the pair together.

The Webers have a son and daughter and five grandchildren who all live in Chappaqua.

and Graduate Linehan and his new bride Ashling-Baker-Linehan of Dublin, Ireland, were recently married by Atria Briarcliff Manor Executive Director Janis Knorr and held a mock ceremony in front of Atria residents this weekend.

"The celebration was truly magical," Linehan said in a statement. "The residents enjoyed being a part of the inter-generational marriage celebrations and getting to know more about the relationship of Ken and Viola and meet their Engage Life Director's new bride."
