Briarcliff Village Manager: Expect Power Outages

Wind gusts will reach up to 40 mph.

While it looks as though its too balmy for Winter Storm Boreas to bring snow to Westchester County, high winds and heavy rain throughout the day could still bring its fair share of inconveniences in Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor.

Briarcliff Village Manager Philip Zegarelli said to be prepared for power outages in his Nov. 26 report.

“With the higher winds and heavier rain, power outages should be anticipated,” he said. “If you have a power outage, the procedure is to contact Con Ed at 1-800-75-CON-ED (1-800-752-6633) then ALSO to the BMPD at 941-2130 so that we can have our own record for follow-up.”
