Easter Sunrise Service in Briarcliff Manor
Scarborough Presbyterian Church faithful gather along the Hudson River at sunrise.
As the Sun rose in a cloudless sky, a small group of parishioners from the Scarborough Presbyterian Church formed a circle in Scarborough Park along the shores of the Hudson River in Briarcliff Manor.
Nearby, a group of fisherman cast their lines into the water and glanced over their shoulders to see what was going on as minister Tim Ives greeted each worshiper by name and offered a handshake.
The chilly air did not deter people from coming out for Easter Sunday sunrise services across the region. The group in Scarborough Park stood in silent confession as the sounds of birds chirping and the river splashing on the shore was briefly interrupted by a communter train passing through the Scarborough station on it's way to New York City.

Readings and Hymns werre followed by an exchange of peace amongst the group, and the wishing of "Happy Easter" as the group left the park.
