Sunday School Kick-off With Teacher Installation Service,

Bibles to Third Graders, Barbecue and Events

PLEASANTVILLE, NY, September 12, 2012 – Pleasantville’s Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church announced today that it will hold its 10th annual Rally Day and barbecue on Sunday, September 23, 2012, to begin the Sunday School new year. 

Rally Day begins with worship at 9:00 am with the installation of Sunday School staff and special music by Emanuel Ringers. Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 10:30 am, followed by a festive BBQ. All are welcome - Come and See!

Rally Day features homemade barbecue, salads and desserts and a chance to meet, mingle and have fun with Sunday School teachers and students looking forward to a new year of learning and growing.   

Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 197 Manville Road, Pleasantville, New York.
