Spike Jonze’s Being John Malkovich is an unreal take on the human desire to experience “fifteen minutes of fame.” The film stars John Cusack as a puppeteer-turned-file clerk who discovers and markets a portal into the mind of actor John Malkovich, featuring the real John Malkovich portraying an exaggerated version of himself. [R, 1999, 112 mins.]

This film will be preceded by “Dr. Breakfast,” a surreal, animated short (7 minutes) directed by Stephen Neary, who will introduce the film.
