Why Go: Third and 4th graders will have a ball at Pizza and Movie night from the Pleasantville Recreation Department. Note pre-registration is required at (third floor) in advance.

Where/When: Saturday, March 5 from 1 p.m.—4 p.m. at the Neuberger Museum of Art.
Why Go: Children can tap their creative impulses as they use costumes and props to create their own dramatic scenes, pose for photos and make their images come alive in their own studio session. Also create the costume and setting for a small diorama and enjoy a performance by students in the Purchase College Conservatory programs. Family First Saturdays at the Neuberger allow kids to experience art in a fun, inviting way.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Where/When: Saturday, March 5 from 6:30 p.m.—11:30 p.m at the American Legion, 1 Brookside Ave., Mount Kisco.
Why Go: St. Patrick’s Day advice—celebrate early and often! Kick off the season of the green with a yummy Irish Dinner sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Kids can wear their green and dance a jig.
Pricing: $45 adults, $22.50 children

Why Go: This animated film offers a strong female heroine to please girls, and plenty of action to please boys. Heroic Princess Mononoke leads her clan in Medieval Japan against the forces of nature.

Where/When: Sunday, March 6 at 3 p.m. at The Bendheim Performing Arts Center at JCC Mid-Westchester.
Why Go: Kids are invited to “lend-a-hand” to award-winning singer GiGi and her musical family (mom, granny, hubby and friends) as they sing, dance and create romping, rip-roaring music with puppets, floats and lots audience participation.
