1. Pleasantville Cop-Obama fiasco: A Pleasantville police officer has been placed on administrative leave for posting racist comments on Facebook about President Barack Obama that were “despicable” and “totally unacceptable,” Pleasantville Police Chief Richard Love said. Love is receiving the full support from the village in his decision.

2. Snow cancellations: Weather once again got in the way of events, as a book signing and board meeting were postponed Tuesday night.

3. The snow, and show, must go on: Carolers and instrumentalists from the Pleasantville High School went from door-to-door to the shops with Santa in downtown Pleasantville before performing on Saturday, Dec. 14 – during a snowstorm

5. Governor Astorino? Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino made his case for why state Republicans should support for a possible run against Gov. Andrew Cuomo during a GOP function in Erie County Wednesday.
