Local Scouts Graduate to Wolves

The group spent a night at the Museum of Natural History recently.

Names: Jack Dare, Zachray Dellapia, Michael Henry, Ryan Humer, Ben Latkis, Joey Malaspina, Alexander Merengo, Mike Scarduzio, Ryan Shanahan, Ryan Wenacur and Michael Zazzini Jr. — residents of Briarcliff Manor, Ossining and surrounding area

Accomplishment: Saint Augustine Pack 49, based in Ossining, recently graduated to the rank of Wolf from Tiger.

Key to Awesomeness: With Scout Leader Michael Zazzini at the helm, the group of 7-year-olds are now Wolves.

The pack recently spent a night at the Museum of Natural History, where they camped out underneath a whale and checked out dinosaur bones.

According to Zazzini, a Briarcliff Manor police officer, "They also helped to clean up a no kill animal shelter in Middletown."

Added Zazzini, "Scouts also learned many life lessons on being respectful and kind to others."
