Nice Day For a Walk

Unseasonably mild weather has folks enjoying the great outdoors.

At this time of year you can usually count on people being bundled up and the site of snow plows, people digging and slushy streets. But as temperatures reached 60 degrees Saturday, only sweaters and light jackets were needed--a pair of shorts even made an appearance--as Hudson Valley residents went walking, bicycling, rollerblading and skateboarding. The day proved perfect for a game of catch or frisbee and frolicking on the playground. Tomorrow's weather promises to be just as nice, and with a storm predicted later this week, get out and enjoy it!

Hi Ebba, Thanks for weighing in! In the past, Stu has done photos at both parks. They're both very nice! As for going forward, I'll reiterate what Bill wrote below.

Thanks for the suggestions and compliments. As Tom mentioned I have been to some of those places in the past and will be there again in the future for different stories. Nyack Beach State Park is another great place I intend to go to visit.

Love to visit the Valhalla Dam and say a prayer for those we lost on 911 at the beautful Rising site

Hi Ebba - Thanks for the suggestions, too, and I'll just add that this story was shared with all of our Westchester sites, and if you'd like to add any shots you may have gotten this weekend, you can click on on "add photos" and do that here. Or, you can always add photos to the Chappaqua Mt. Kisco Patch Neighborhood Gallery, here: http://chappaqua.patch.com/gallery#photo-8681015
