Pleasantville Day Festivities Draw Hundreds
Clear skies and plenty of vendors drew large crowds to the annual gathering.
Pleasantville Day 2011 brought hundreds of revelers together for a fun filled day with games, rides, activities and great food. With so many things to choose from, there was something for everyone.
Everything from a carousel ride to face painting to a high striker to golf were offered to the enthusiastic crowd.
And if you came hungry, you weren't disappointed. Hot dogs, hamburgers and pulled pork were for the asking (to name a few) with fresh popcorn and ice cream for dessert!

Memorial Plaza was lined with booths with vendors displaying their wares and organizations offering information on their cause. The 's Media Arts Lab hosted the Art Show, which featured talented students' pottery, drawings, paintings and small sculptures.
To top it all off, people were treated to the wonderful music of the Banjo Rascals, who got the crowd jumping with their timeless banjo sing-a-longs and classic Dixieland swing.
