Thursday: Flash Mob at Palisades Mall

More than 200 are expected to participate in "Rockland Rising" to support ending violence against women.

Amidst the shoppers, more than 200 people will be breaking out dance moves on Thursday at the Palisades Mall. 

The Center For Safety & Change is anticipating more than 200 people to attend the "Rockland Rising" Flash Mob Dance on February 14 in front of the H&M store on the first floor of the Palisades Center. The dance will be choreographed by Myrna Packer.

The event is open to anyone—no specific dance experience necessary. Arrive at 5 p.m. and the dance begins at 5:30 p.m.

In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Eve Ensler’s “One Billion Rising” movement, Rockland will be “rising up” in solidarity with national and global organizations to demand an end to violence against women.
