VIDEO: DJ Dream Fund Serves Youth Athletes

The DJ Dream Fund began in memory of Easton, MA, native DJ Henry.

The DJ Dream Fund recently released a video documenting many of the young athletes it has served in the past year and a half.

The non-profit organization provides financial resources for youth athletes. It was created in the name of Pace University student Danroy "DJ" Henry, who was shot and killed in Thornwood in 2010. Henry was a former Oliver Ames High School football player in his native Easton, MA, and a football player for the Setters.

"There's no better way to honor him than by giving kids the things that he treasured so deeply," DJ Henry's father Danroy Henry Sr. says in the video. "We want to make sure that other children don't have that taken away from them because of a financial burden that isn't their fault. We're proud to be able to serve in his honor in this way."
