1ST THURSDAY…NIGHT LIGHTS: JUNE 7
2ND ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF AND TEXAS BBQ
Stroll, Shop, and Dine – Taste and Vote for Your Favorite Chili!
The second in an ongoing series of special nights in the Village when the public is invited to “stroll, shop and dine” kicks off barbeque season with a hotly contested chili cook off among many shops and restaurants, as well as other tastings, discounts, and special offers. This evening’s special treat for kids is face painting.
Hosted by the Briarcliff Manor Chamber of Commerce, the event runs from 5 pm to 8 pm. Participating businesses, retailers and restaurants can be spotted by the familiar blue flags hung outside their establishments and everyone is encouraged to stop in and enjoy their special offerings that night.
Last year’s winner of the chili cook off was Wondrous Things for their “Beer Chili”. Can they make it two in a row? They’ll face stiff competition from numerous restaurants and businesses offering their specialties to the public to taste and cast their vote for this year’s winner.
Upcoming 1st Thursday…Night Lights themes:
July 12 -- Americana, featuring pie contest (postponed from July 5)
August 2 – Artists in the Village, featuring exhibitions and demos by local artists
