VIDEO: Summercliff Players Head to Haiti

Briarcliff Manor-Pleasantville youth acting group to debut "Once on This Island" on Friday.

Caribbean dance, a love story and four (literally) larger-than-life gods will bring the story of Once on This Island to life at tomorrow.

Teen acting group Summercliff Players—offered through the Briarcliff Manor Recreation Department, along with the Briarcliff Friends of the Performing Arts and the Briarcliff Manor Community Coalition for the past six years—presents a production featuring actors from , Briarcliff High School, Ossining High School and the surrounding area each summer season.

On Friday and Saturday, a group of 39 actors, ranging from middle school to age 20 (and one 9-year-old child) actors will tackle the one-act musical on the BHS stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.50 each and can be purchased in advance online.
