Where/When:  on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Pleasantville's Special Education Parent Teacher Association is hosting spa night fundraiser. Get beautified just in time for February break and support the local organization. Refreshments will be served. Tickets can be purchased online here.

Pricing: $60 for manicure/pedicure; $30 teacher gift rate for manicure

Time Bandits at JBFC

Where/When: on Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 12 p.m.

Why go: Jacob Burns' Movies for Kids and their Families series continues with Time Bandits, "an exuberant, vivid fantasy about a suburban boy who joins a group of renegade time-traveling dwarves."

Saturday Stories & Craft

Where/When:  on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.

Why go: Enjoy a morning of crafts and stories with your toddler (ages two to six) at the library.

Pricing: Free

Lego Mania and Pizza

Where/When: on Friday, Feb. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy Friday night with other third and fourth graders in activities "designed to encourage your child to exercise concentration, perseverance and independence," according to the Pleasantville Recreation Department. Legos will be provided and a pizza dinner will be served.

Pricing: $25

Winter Farm Tour at Stone Barns

Where/When:  on Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Why go: Get face-to-face with Stone Barns Center's livestock in their winter shelters and learn about what’s growing in the four-season greenhouse and main production field. This tour will focus on winter growing techniques and how the animals are managed and vegetables are cultivated through the cold winter months.

Pricing: $10 adults, $7 children (ages two to 14)
