Tot Shabbat/Pajama Shabbat
Where/When: Pleasantville Community Synagogue on Friday, Feb. 1 from 5:45 to 8:15 p.m.
Why go: Bring the whole pajama-clad family for a Tot Shabbat service (for ages two to five) at 6 p.m. followed by a family dinner. At 7:15 p.m., there will be a family Shabbat service for all ages featuring fourth graders.

Mom's Bingo Bonanza
Where/When: Clinton Street Center on Friday, Feb. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Why go: This 11th annual affair is open to all moms, ages 21 and up on Friday. Join your friends and neighbors for a social evening with Bingo and appetizers. Prizes will be handed out. Register at the Pleasantville Recreation Center.

The Center with Filmmaker Charlie Griak
Where/When: Jacob Burns Film Center on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m.
Why go: As part of JBFC's "Jonathan Demme's Rarely Seen Cinema" series, The Center will be screened Sunday evening. Following the film, audience members can take part in a Q&A with Director Charlie Griak and host Jonathan Demme.
