Holbrook Cottage is a specialty shop in Briarcliff Manor providing beautiful home décor, gourmet food and a wide range of gifts, including gifts for baby, hostess, corporate and gift baskets. Located in the Business District on Pleasantville Road, “The Cottage” is celebrating 15 successful years in retail this fall, and has again been voted “Best of Westchester” for Wedding Registry for the second consecutive year by Westchester Magazine.
Owner Sue Bicksler-Taub has been in retail her whole professional career and strives to turn shopping at Holbrook Cottage into an experience for her clients. “I enjoy helping clients find décor that represents them,” Sue says. “Understanding a client’s style is an important part of what I do.” Sue particularly enjoys the ever-changing nature of design and believes that “good design lasts.”
Sue also shares that the philosophy of the Company has always been to “give back” to the community. “A percentage of every dollar earned at Holbrook Cottage is donated to local charities." The biggest recipients are Neighbor’s Link in Mt. Kisco and The Ossining Children’s Center in Ossining. Holbrook Cottage also sponsors the annual Festive Stroll of Homes Benefit every holiday season.
