Check out Briarcliff Manor Garden Club!

Briarcliff Manor Garden Club
"The Briar Patch"
Susan Zetkov-Lubin

If you are the least bit hesitant to come and attend a Briarcliff Manor Garden Club meeting, then let me welcome you to give us a try. Guaranteed, we will make you feel comfortable, whether you come alone or with a friend.

Our members range from beginners to advanced gardeners. Yes, it's true that some of our members are horticulturists but we also have enough members, like myself, who are beginners, just wanting to learn all we can, at a comfortable pace.

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 11:45-am at 48 Macy Road, Briarcliff Manor. And you don't have to be a Briarcliff Manor resident to join us. We welcome all of you.

Yesterday, we had a very successful kick-off first meeting of the season. Our speaker, Leah Waybright Kennell gave a beautiful and most informative presentation, creating several "over the top, sensational designs. We watched in awe as she turned simple flowers and twigs into masterpieces. When she concluded her session, we raffled off her creations and six lucky club members went home with some gorgeous floral centerpieces.

Also presented was a display of horticultural specimens, exhibited by several club members. Several varieties of culinary herbs were on display. Marion Cowles professionally critiqued each of them, as if they were being judged for a garden show. We learned so much!

We had quite a lovely luncheon hostessed by Mary Jane, Mary, Carrie and myself. Please see photos!

So, mark your calendars for October 9th and just come.
We look forward to meeting you!
