BHS Club Sends Holiday Cheers to US Troops

This holiday season, members of the Briarcliff High School American Red Cross Club, advised by Karen McCarthy, collected more than 110 pounds of goods, including everything from food and coffee to games and toiletries, and compiled them into care packages. In addition, Ms. McCarthy’s sophomore English classes wrote letters to the soldiers expressing their gratitude.

“The students wished to give thanks to these selfless men and women who put their lives on the line to protect and defend America,” said Ms. McCarthy.
