Briarcliff Day Care Reaps Solar Power Benefits

Last year, the For Kids Only day care center installed new solar panels and its already paying off.

Last year Patch reported the story of friends and fellow business owners banding together to help install solar panels at the For Kids Only day care center in Briarcliff Manor.

Now, the day care center says the hard work is paying off. Day care Owner Wendy Masserman said today she was told that the center's new solar panels would save her 60 percent annually. Now that the facility has had the panels up for a full year, they've found that they are saving 56 percent.

In March, the center reported already seeing results from the panels.
