Frozen Yogurt Shop Coming to Marble Avenue

The new store will open adjacent to A'mangiare's proposed new space.

Frozen yogurt company Yogolicious is planning to open up shop on Marble Avenue, confirmed Pleasantville Building Inspector Michael Testa.

The shop, approximately 30' x 20', will be able to hold a maximum of eight seats, Testa revealed.

The building is located at the intersection of Paulding Street, at the same address where plans to relocate—59 Marble Ave.

A'mangiare is currently situated in Pleasantville's Old Village.

Testa said Yogolicious is looking to open "right away," and therefore he believes it will be "under construction next week."

In an , A'mangiare Co-owner Luigi Dolgetta said the restaurant's new location will make room for a bar and private party dining room, as well as almost double the amount of seating compared to its current location, inside and out.

While construction at the site is still underway, Testa said he is not aware of when A'mangiare plans to relocate yet.

Pleasantville's Marble Avenue has seen a lot of activity recently, including the opening of another restaurant, ; as well as the sale of the to cutlery manufacturer J.A. Henckels International.

Across the street from the future home for A'mangiare and Yogolicious is the former building, which the village board has been attempting to transform into the future Recreation Department headquarters.
