Frugal Family: Deals at Le Loft, PFX, Iron Horse, Haven and More

Receiving value for your money is what this weekly feature is all about.

St. Patrick’s Day meal deals at Shop-Rite (at the Town Center in Thornwood) include:  A one-pound package of Reddi-Cut Gourmet USDA Choice corned beef brisket at $1.88; up to eight pounds of crisp green cabbage at seven cents/pound; up to eight pounds of organic green cabbage at fifty-seven centers per pound; a 16-ounce loaf of Katie Reilly’s Irish Soda Bread (limit four). (All discounts require the free Price-Plus card and are applicable through Saturday, March 12).

Francesca Vendittelli McAndrew, owner of , a full service salon and spa, offers a "Share in the Savings” program. When you refer a friend you receive 20 percent off of a service, and your friend receives 10 percent off a service, too. Le Loft’s frequent buyer’s card for the purchase of products provides an additional incentive. Upon completion of the card, you will receive a credit equal to the average purchase price of your previous items, towards a new purchase. Sign up to receive an e-mail a birthday card (without revealing your age) entitling you to $5 off a service.
