Haven Spa Moves from Briarcliff to Pleasantville

Longtime Briarcliff Manor business Haven Spa is now open for business in downtown Pleasantville.

"The Haven Spa has been in business for about 16 years," said Owner Jodi Mercedes.

Since opening years ago, the business has expanded three different times within the village. And now, Mercedes is excited to bring the spa's services to Wheeler Avenue.

"It was time for a change for The Haven Spa with the trends of the day spa business," she explained in an email to Patch, adding, "and Pleasantville is right next door."

Mercedes says she thinks being right across the street from the train station and around the corner from Jacob Burns Film Center will bring a lot of foot traffic to the new location.

Fans of the local spa know about the variety of massage types Mercedes and her staff offer, including couples massages; and other offerings in the new space will include speciality facials (teen, acne, anti-aging, sun damage, to name a few), reiki, microdermabrasion, waxing parties and more.

"We are excited to offer commuter packages," she shared. "[We are] also very excited with a new feeling being on one level floor with all our wonderful treatments. The clients will really feel removed and having a feeling of peace in our new space."
