Pleasantville Chamber Hosts Sidewalk Sale

Shoppers came out to the downtown Saturday to check out deals and more.

Local businesses in Pleasantville opened their doors and offered specials and more on Friday and Saturday as part of the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce's revived Sidewalk Sale Days.

On Saturday, local musicians performed at Nonna's Square on Wheeler Avenue, while retailers and eateries set up in Jackson Alley and along Wheeler and Washington Avenues.

In addition, Patch offered free parking all day on the two downtown streets for local shoppers, farmers' market patrons and visitors.

On Saturday afternoon, Chappaqua residents and political power couple Bill and Hillary Clinton were spotted strolling down Manville Road and Wheeler Avenue.
