Wednesday Briarcliff Recreation Update

See what's open, what's not; what's canceled and what's still on in Briarcliff Manor.

The following is from the Briarcliff Manor Recreation Department:

OFFICE:  The Recreation Department Office has power, but no internet (email) access and no phone service.  We are open during regular business hours of 8:30 am-4:30 pm for walk-in business only until such time as phones and email access are restored.

FIELDS:  All Village fields remain closed until further notice.

PLATFORM TENNIS COURTS:  Daytime play is permitted - Night play is suspended until power is restored to the site.  

WEDNESDAY PROGRAMS:  Briarcliff Schools are closed - all programs scheduled to take place in school facilities are canceled when schools are not in session. This means ADULT BASKETBALL is CANCELED for Wednesday night.

THURSDAY PROGRAMS:      SENIOR TRANSPORTATION:  Thursday's local shopping trip WILL take place as scheduled, however, our driver may alter the shopping destination based upon road conditions.  Pick-ups will be made as usual at 345 North State Road and 333 North State Road.TODDLER PROGRAMS:  Music & Motion and Creative Playgroups WILL take place as scheduled at the Recreation Center on Macy Road.  If schools are canceled, parents are welcome to bring siblings to the programs if they wish.AFETRSCHOOL PROGRAMS:  If Briarcliff Schools are open, Afterschool Programs will take place as scheduled.  If schools are closed, all afterschool programs are canceled.ADULT BASKETBALL:  Canceled if schools are closed . . . will take place if schools are open.

FRIDAY PROGRAMS:  We expect Friday programs to take place as scheduled.  Any changes/cancellations will be communicated with a blast on Thursday afternoon.

YOUTH CENTER:  The Youth Center is CLOSED this FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT due to several downed trees on the property.  The November schedule will be distributed as soon as Village email access is restored.
