Where to Ring in 2012 in Briarcliff Manor-Pleasantville

Here are some ideas for staying local this New Year's Eve.

2011 is quickly coming to an end and if you're not quite up to reveling in Times Square Saturday night, several local bars and restaurants in Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor are ringing in 2012 this Saturday night. Here is a sampling:

—The Marble Avenue wine bar is offering its usual small plates and spirits all night long, staying open until 1 to 2 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1.

—A special prix fixe menu and New Year's Eve specials will be available. Call 762-3424 for reservations.

—Tickets are on sale for "A Very Foley's New Year," at a price of $55 for the first 55 takers. Ticket price includes an open bar, buffet and midnight champagne toast. Frankenstein's Baby will be providing live music. Call 769-9822 for more information.

—Beginning at 6 p.m., Lucy's is hosting a New Year's Eve Social, featuring a DJ. Call 747-4740 for more information.

—There will be a DJ spinning all night with a countdown to 2012 at midnight. No cover. Call 747-0390 for more information.

—Squire's will be offering its regular menu, but plans to stay open past midnight to celebrate the arrival of 2012. Call 762-3376 for more information.
