Cancer Statistics are Scary
Cancer statistics are scary. You can make a difference, join the UMAC Team and hike the Grand Canyon to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Cancer statistics are scary. Maybe you are a patient, survivor, care-taker, family member, or friend. The lifetime risk of developing cancer in the US is 1 out of 2 for males and 1 out of 3 for females (American Cancer Society).
Tomorrow...who knows what the statistics will be...but you can make a difference today. I am asking you to join me in giving back, to do something good for yourself, your health, and those who suffer from the devastating effects of blood cancers; leukemia, lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and myeloma.
Please consider making a donation to my team by visiting my web page at: http://pages.teamintraining.org/wch/CanyonS12/UMAC. Or take it a step further and join my team. You can reach me at the (), 528 North State Rd., Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510, or call me at 914-945-7100.

I hope I got your attention. Cancer certainly has mine. And I hope you will follow my journey, and that of my team, as we train over the next 16 weeks and prepare to hike the Grand Canyon, May 19, 2012. I have made my commitment to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and have joined their Team in Training program. If you haven’t seen it, please on Pleasantville-Briarcliff Manor Patch.
