"I Am Malala"...A Worthy Ideal

I am Malala!

I am so impressed with Malala Yousafzai and truly inspired by this “older beyond her years” 16 year old girl. Her story is amazing and Diane Sawyer’s interview with Malala on 20/20 (ABC) was fascinating.

Do you know what really strikes me about Malala? Her maturity. And her ability to speak so eloquently and passionately about her ordeal and the rights of all people, boys and girls, to get an education...amazing.

What are you passionate about...what is your Worthy Ideal?

Finding Your Worthy Ideal is the driving force of why we get out of bed everyday. Whether you are young or old, knowing what makes life worth living is so important to your own success and happiness. Sometimes I think we know what our passions are and then...because of peer or parental pressure we stop following them. Or something happens in our life and our circumstances change. Or we grow out of our interests. In any case, at any moment of time, we need these interests and passions to keep us moving forward...these are the positive influences that balance out our lives.

My Worthy Ideal is to “impact and create a better society for all people in the community through Martial Arts training and Taekwondo: teaching and living a Black Belt life.”

I am so passionate about Taekwondo and how it has changed my life I wrote a book, “It’s Not About the Belt...You Don’t Need a Black Belt to Act Like One” to share my stories, experiences, and how you too can live happier and more fulfilled Black Belt life.

I am living my Worthy Ideal. And Malala is living hers. Are you living yours?

Look for my weekly blog providing insights on "Living a Black Belt Life". Please share this with your friends and family.

Thank you for this opportunity to serve you.
