If you commute using Route 9 in Briarcliff Manor or are planning to travel on the road over the next few days, you may want to give yourself some extra time.
Be on the lookout for Con Edison vehicles, Briarcliff Manor police vehicles, cones and flags warning about work in the area.
According to village police, Con Edison is digging in the area to install a new electrical line.
There is one lane of traffic in each direction, but as the work continues down the road (mainly between the Sleepy Hollow Country Club and Scarborough Presbyterian Church), expect some traffic to be funneled through the center turning lane.
