The National Weather Service is predicting 2 to 4 inches of snow during the daylight hours Saturday, mostly after 10 a.m., and has also issued a winter weather advisory.
As of 4 a.m. on Saturday, NWS predicts a 100 percent chance of snow during the day and a 70 percent chance in the evening.
Snow is forecast to continue into Saturday night with an additional 1 to 2 inches.
The high Saturday will be near 35 degrees, with a calm wind coming northeast at 5 to 7 mph during the afternoon. The temperature will dip overnight to around 26. Winds from the northwest will be 9 to 13 mph.
Sunday is predicted to be mostly sunny, though breezy—14 to 22 mph from the northwest. The high will be hear 34.
As of Friday morning, the weather service isn't forecasting any more precipitation through New Year's Day.
