Why go: World Heritage Cultural Organization, a local non-profit, is hosting a day of cultural refreshments, classes and more for all members of the family. Dance workshops will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. free of chrage.

Where/When: Mount Pleasant Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Purim Banquet
Where/When: Briarcliff Manor Recreation Center on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 4:30 p.m.
Why go: The annual Chabad of Briarcliff Manor and Ossining Purim celebration will feature a Megilah Reading at 4:30 p.m., followed by an Israeli feast and entertainment at 5 p.m. There will be music, L'chaim, dancing, masquerade and a performance by Marc Hayward, a professional yo-yo master and juggler.
