Hillary Clinton and Rep. Nita Lowey will preside over Wednesday's New Castle inauguration, Town Clerk Jill Shapiro announced.

The inauguration is for Supervisor Rob Greenstein, Lisa Katz and Adam Brodsky for council seats, and Noah Sorkin for town justice. It is scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m. at town hall in Chappaqua, which is located at 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Due to limited seating, according to Shapiro, the event will be streamed lived on NCCMC, channel 78 for Cablevision and Verizon's channel 45.

The inauguration is the latest local event for Hillary Clinton. The former secretary of state, U.S. senator and first lady has marched in Memorial Day parades in recent years with her husband, former President Bill Clinton. At the 2012 Memorial Day ceremony in downtown Chappaqua, Hillary Clinton presented local veteran Gabriel Rosenfeld with his French Legion of Honor medal, which was awarded for his World War II service.

Lowey presided over town government inaugurations in 2010 and 2012.

The inauguration is ceremonial for the officeholders. Legally, their terms began on Jan. 1 and officials can take office by signing documents.
