Book Talk and Signing by author Robert Sullivan

Robert Sullivan, author of A Child's Christmas in New England, will conduct a book talk and signing at the Library.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

A Child's Christmas in New England is a memoir about New England in the 1950s and 60s, where the snow was always deep, and a light was always on in the window.  The author provides a Yuletide feast for the reader, full of his memories of childhood Christmases and recollections of his parents, grandparents, relatives and siblings.

Author Daniel Okrent says "The childhood memories that the father tells his daughter in this warm and wonderful book can't help but bring back similar memories of other parents-memories they, too, will be inspired to share with their own children."

Robert Sullivan is the Managing Editor of LIFE Books.  He was raised in Massachusetts and continued his education in New Hampshire; he lives today with his family in Westchester County, New York.  He has written for scores of magazines and has authored several books including The Flight of the Reindeer: The True Story of Santa Claus and His Christmas Mission!
