Ebonics Goes Global

A multimedia staged reading; poems by Sandra Robinson and Mary Moore Easter with visuals by Annette Danto - featuring Eboni Witcher and RaShelle Stocker.

Sandra Robinson, Riggs Professor of Religion and Asian Studies at Sarah Lawrence College, centers her work on gender and caste in India where she has lived and conducted extended research projects. Mary Moore Easter, dancer/choreographer/writer, creates live and video performance mixing the elements of movement, original text, and song. She holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.A. from Goddard College. Annette Danto, filmmaker and Professor in the Department of Film at Brooklyn College, has extensive credits in film/television production, documentary and sound recording, including BBC, NBC, HBO and Showtime.
