Sharing Our Travels: Bookmaking and Visual Journaling - A Creative Arts Program for Adults 55+
Explore different methods to make your own books, altered books and visual journals on the theme of travel. Learn about design components (composition, balance, color, etc.) and experiment with different types of media including collage, paint, and color pencil. Incorporate writing and even a sound recording to create a unique book reflecting on a powerful moment in your own life. Kim McCormack, a professional artist and teacher will lead the sessions.
Please commit to all 8 sessions. Sessions are on the following dates:
February 5, 12, 14, 19, 26, 28; March 5 and 12, 2013

Books will be on exhibit March 16 - April 27
Reception Saturday, March 16, 2:00 - 4:00 pm
