In true holiday spirit, Gordo's Bar & Restaurant in Hawthorne, NY, is throwing a holiday celebration for our American heroes, the Veterans at Homes For Heroes. Come out to see Santa on the roof lighting the Christmas tree to help our efforts to build housing for homeless and disabled Veterans, housing that is sorely lacking in Hudson Valley. 1 in 5 homeless in the USA are Veterans. Even one homeless Veteran is too much, and Mike Schliman of Gordo's Restaurant is giving back to his community and our brave Veterans in a big way. 10% of all proceeds from the day (11 am - 11 pm) will go to help our Veterans! There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a coat drive for Veterans, so please bring new or gently used coats.
***TREE LIGHTING, SANTA & CAROLING, 4 - 6 PM***
***50/50 RAFFLE & COAT DRIVE***
